Track and Field
Discover how HPPS Track and Field trains students in running, throws, and jumps. The team has won medals at the National School Games since 2015.
Track and Field CCA was established in 2015 and has continued to grow steadily over the years. Through our P3 CCA trials, students with an interest and potential in athletics are identified to join the training team. They are progressively developed through structured training in running, jumping and throwing events, while building important qualities such as discipline, resilience, teamwork and perseverance.
Throughout the year, our athletes train towards various competitions, culminating in the National School Games (NSG), where selected students represent Henry Park Primary School. In the 2026 NSG, our athletes delivered an impressive series of performances across the Junior and Senior divisions.
In the 2025 National School Games, the HPPS Track and Field team achieved a total of 4 individual Gold, 2 relay Gold, 5 individual Silver, 1 individual Bronze and 16 other Top 8 positions, for a total of 28 Top 8 finishes across the Junior and Senior Divisions. Our S1 Boys team emerged 1st in the Division Ranking, while the S1 Girls team came in 5th.
In the 2026 National School Games, the HPPS Track and Field team achieved a total of 2 individual Gold, 3 individual Silver, 3 individual Bronze, 1 relay Gold, 1 relay Bronze, 1st place in the S1 Boys Combined Event Ranking, and 17 other Top 8 positions, for a total of 27 Top 8 finishes across the Junior and Senior divisions.
Beyond the results, we are proud of the commitment and determination displayed by our athletes throughout the season. Every training session, competition and challenge is an opportunity for our students to grow, support one another and strive for personal excellence.
Congratulations to all our Track & Field athletes on their achievements in the 2026 National School Games! We look forward to nurturing the next generation of athletes and continuing to grow from strength to strength.
