Join our Basketball CCA to build fitness, confidence, and leadership skills through teamwork and the sport you love.
Relaunched in 2024, our Basketball CCA offers members a dynamic environment to grow as athletes and as individuals. Driven by a shared love for the game, we are committed to building a strong and vibrant basketball community in our school.
Through training, members develop essential physical attributes such as motor coordination, flexibility, and endurance, honing their ability to move with speed, precision, and purpose on the court. Beyond physical development, Basketball nurtures important life skills. Members build self-confidence as they find their voice, adapt to new situations, and learn to perform under pressure. As a team, they cultivate a culture of encouragement and mutual support, understanding that success on the court is a collective effort.
Leadership is also a cornerstone of our programme. Members are given opportunities to develop their own game plans, applying critical thinking and adaptability to complex, real-time situations. Working closely with our coach, they make informed decisions and take ownership of their learning journey, developing the habits of self-directed learners. Post-game reflections further reinforce this, as members assess both individual and team performance to identify areas for growth.
We believe that the values, discipline, and work ethic cultivated through Basketball extend far beyond the court, equipping our members with qualities that will serve them well in all aspects of life.
Since its relaunch in 2024, our Basketball CCA has grown from strength to strength. In our first year, the Senior Boys finished as 1st Runner-Up in League 5, while the Junior Boys claimed 1st place in League 2 — a promising start that set the tone for what was to come.
Building on that momentum, the Senior Boys went on to clinch 1st place in League 3 in 2025, reflecting the team's continued growth and determination. The Junior Boys also rose to the challenge, competing in the more competitive League 1 and finishing 4th in their group.
In 2026, the Junior Boys continued their strong form, finishing 1st in League 2, while the Senior Boys secured 4th place in League 2. These achievements are a testament to the commitment and hard work of our boys, supported every step of the way by our coach, teachers, and parents. Together, we look forward to scaling even greater heights in the years ahead.
