Badminton
Join the Badminton CCA to build skills, friendships, and teamwork — whether through competitive training or recreational play.
Badminton Training Team
The Badminton Training Team CCA provides students with a comprehensive training programme that prepares them to represent the school in inter-school competitions. Members train twice a week, focusing on physical fitness, technical proficiency, and tactical awareness. Training includes the development of essential badminton skills such as lobs, smashes, net play, footwork, as well as singles and doubles gameplay and match strategies.
In addition to developing sporting excellence, the CCA instils values such as discipline, responsibility, perseverance, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Members learn to support one another, work collaboratively towards common goals, and demonstrate respect both on and off the court. Through consistent training and shared experiences, they build lasting friendships, grow in confidence, and develop a deep appreciation and passion for the sport.
Badminton Recreational Team
Recreational Badminton CCA provides Primary 3 to Primary 6 students with opportunities to enjoy badminton, stay active, make friends and improve their skills in a fun and supportive environment.
The CCA aims to develop students’ interest and confidence in badminton while promoting an active lifestyle. Students learn fundamental skills that they can use to enjoy the sport during their free time.
Through practice and friendly games, students develop their badminton skills, teamwork and sportsmanship. They also learn to face challenges with perseverance and stay positive when games become tough. These experiences help students build resilience while enjoying the sport with their peers.
