Floorball
Join the Floorball CCA to build fitness, teamwork, and discipline. Train at your own pace or compete in inter-school tournaments as part of our Recreational or Training Team.
Floorball was introduced as a new CCA in 2024, beginning as a recreational team formed entirely by students. The CCA was established to provide students with an opportunity to develop their interest in the sport while building important values and skills through regular training and friendly competition.
The objectives of the Floorball CCA are to develop students' physical fitness, fundamental floorball skills, teamwork, discipline, resilience and sportsmanship. Through training and participation in competitions, students learn to communicate effectively, support one another and persevere in the face of challenges.
Key learning experiences include developing basic skills such as passing, receiving, dribbling and shooting, understanding game strategies and rules, and learning to work collaboratively as a team. Students also gain valuable experiences in managing both success and setbacks, while building confidence and a strong sense of responsibility.
Now in its third year, the Floorball CCA has continued to grow, with the boys showing encouraging development and improved performances. Their hard work and commitment have resulted in better achievements, with the Junior Boys emerging at the top of their tier group. This achievement reflects the students' dedication and the positive progress of the CCA as it continues to develop and grow.
