Our Goals
Good Character
Students develop a strong moral compass, make thoughtful and ethical decisions,
take responsibility for their actions, care for others, and strive to do
their best.
Resilience and Social-Emotional Well-Being
Students build a healthy sense of self, form positive relationships, cope
with challenges, find meaning in their experiences, and practise gratitude
and appreciation.
Future Readiness
Students develop a sense of purpose, adaptability, and a mindset for lifelong
learning, enabling them to navigate education pathways, the world of work,
and future challenges confidently.
Active Citizenship
Students develop a sense of belonging to Singapore, understand the nation’s
realities and constraints, care about others, and are motivated to contribute
to the community and build a better future for society.
Our Programmes

National Education (NE)
National Education (NE) is part of holistic education. It aims to foster national cohesion and boost students’ confidence in our nation’s future. It also emphasises on cultivating a sense of belonging and emotional rootedness to Singapore. National Education is infused with the primary school curriculum. Social Studies integrates History and Geography with some basic Economics and Sociology. Emphasis is placed on the application of knowledge and skills, and the acquisition of values.
NE comprises four core annual events
· Total Defence Day
· International Friendship Day
· Racial Harmony Day
· National Day
Museum Based Learning Journeys are interactive experiences that allow students to deepen their knowledge and understanding of Singapore’s history, geography and culture. The trips enable pupils to:
• understand and appreciate the rich cultural and historical heritage of our people;
• foster a sense of pride in the rich diversity of our heritage;
• share a common bond which will hold our society together as a people and as a nation.
Contemporary Issues
Students explore various contemporary issues to gain greater awareness of the world around them. Our students construct new knowledge through a collaborative process and broaden their minds to other perspectives. In the process, developing their own citizenship dispositions.

Values in Action (VIA)
Values in Action (VIA) is an integral part of our school’s Character and Citizenship Education (CCE) curriculum, which seeks to nurture students to become concerned citizens with a strong sense of social responsibility. Through VIA, students are provided with purposeful opportunities to apply RICE values in authentic contexts, contribute meaningfully to their families, school, and the wider community, and develop character, resilience, and civic consciousness.
The VIA webpage shows students’ VIA projects and efforts, reflecting their learning, contributions, and impact as they put values into action.

Education and Career Guidance (ECG)
Education and Career Guidance (ECG) supports students in developing a sense of purpose and direction in life. Through ECG, students build self-awareness, cultivate self-directed learning, and develop a growth mindset, adaptability, and resilience. In our school, students explore education pathways through secondary school open houses and are exposed to a wide range of careers through career talks and interactive booth activities, helping them appreciate the value of all occupations. Students are also encouraged to access resources such as the SkillsFuture website [link to https://www.myskillsfuture.gov.sg/content/student/en/primary.html] to further explore education and career opportunities and prepare confidently for the future.
